We build the whole session around your pet.

Every pet is different. A border collie at the beach needs a completely different session to a 14-year-old labrador in the Botanic Gardens. So we plan around your pet, not the other way around.

We chat

It starts with a phone call. We’ll talk about your pet — their personality, their energy, the places they love.

Together we’ll pick the right Wellington location and the best time of day. We sort out everything so you can just show up and enjoy it.

The session

60 to 90 minutes, outdoors, in open shade or warm golden light that makes everything look its best.

We work with your pet’s natural energy. If that means sprinting across the sand, great. If it means sitting calmly and watching the world go by, that’s just as good. We photograph them being themselves, and we have lots of treats and tricks to help bring out their personalities.

You bring the pet. And if you want to be in the photos too, even better.

The design consultation

Within a week of the shoot, we’ll jump on a video call for your design consultation. No need to leave the house. Your images are shown large on screen, the way they’re meant to be seen.

This is usually the moment it hits. Seeing your pet’s personality at that size, in that detail. It’s something else.

You’ll choose your favourites and the sizes that work for your walls. No rush, no pressure. If you don’t fall in love with anything, you don’t spend a cent beyond the session fee.

Your artwork arrives

Four to six weeks later, your prints arrive. Mounted, finished, ready to hang.

And every time you walk past, you see them exactly as they are right now.

Outdoor pet session: $150

The session fee covers the planning call, the photography session, and your viewing appointment. Artwork is chosen separately at the design consultation. You only pay for what you love.

What most people spend

Most pet owners spend between $500 and $1,500 on their session and artwork, depending on sizes and products. There’s no minimum spend. You pick what works for you.

We take a limited number of pet sessions each month so every animal gets our full attention.

Interest-free, in-house payment plans are available on all orders. We’d rather help you get what you actually want than have you settle for less.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the session?

60 to 90 minutes. We don’t rush. Your pet sets the pace.

Where do you shoot?

Outdoors across Wellington. Beaches, parks, bush tracks, or your own property. We’ll choose the best spot together based on your pet and how they like to move.

What if my pet won’t sit still?

Good. We don’t want them to. We work with their natural behaviour, not against it. Some of the best photos happen mid-zoomie.

What if it rains?

We reschedule at no charge. Wellington weather is Wellington weather.

What if I don’t love any of the photos?

You only pay for what you love. If nothing grabs you at your design consultation, you don’t spend a cent beyond the session fee.

Can I be in the photos?

Yes, and we’d recommend it. Some of the best images are the ones of you and your pet together.

Do you photograph cats? Other animals?

Yes. Dogs, cats, horses, rabbits. If it has a personality, we can photograph it.

How long until I see my photos?

The design consultation is usually booked within a week of the shoot. Finished artwork arrives four to six weeks after that.

Do you come to other regions?

We’re based in Wellington but travel regularly. Get in touch and we’ll work something out.
